Palmer Pond site being developed for recreational pond by CCC Camp S 92

Tools lie scattered around as work continues to expand Palmer Pond, near Angelica, N.Y., into a recreational area. The work is being done by Civilian Conservation Corps camp 92, located near Almond, N.Y., and operating from 1934-1942. This image was created to record the reforestation work of the Civilian Conservation Corps under the supervision of the New York State Conservation Department.
