Waterhole construction, Centerville, N.Y.

The "boys" from Civilian Conservation Corps camp S-126 are building a waterhole. Once finished, this waterhole will aid fire suppression in the forests near Centerville, N.Y. Camp S-126 was located near Centerville, and operated from 1935-1941. This image was created to record the reforestation work of the Civilian Conservation Corps under the supervision of the New York State Conservation Department.
