The location is unknown as well, but the steep terrain suggests either the Adirondack Mountains or the Catskill Mountains. The people are all facing the camera, and there are piles of logs around them. This image was probably created to record the forestry activities of the New York State Forest, Fish and Game Commission or Conservation Commission.
