A fine stand of trees, Erzgebirge

A German forester and his dog stand proudly amid the straight trunks of a well managed forest. This forest is located in the Erzgebirge, or Ore Mountains, Germany. Representatives from the Department of Conservation toured this forest in order to study forest management methods. This image was created to record the agricultural and forestry studies performed by the New York State Conservation Department.
