This is the interior of a log cabin exhibit created by the New York State Conservation Department as part of an exhibit on forestry. The cabin was well furnished, complete with moose head and a pennant from Union College in Schenectady, New York. This exhibit was on display during the Louisiana Purchase Exposition, also known as the St. Louis World's Fair, held in Saint Louis, Missouri in 1904. This image was created to record a series of exhibits created by the New York State Conservation Department.
