View of a clearing at the edge of a forest of deciduous and coniferous trees, taken October 25, 1935, perhaps in Clinton County. The deciduous trees have lost their leaves. Tree stumps assert themselves in the foreground. The ground is covered with twigs and the aforementioned leaves. This image was created to record forestry and parks activities of the New York State Forest, Fish and Game Commission, Conservation Commission, or Conservation Department.
