View of a dam and power plant of the Rochester Railway and Light Company on the Middle Falls of the Genesee River at Rochester. The bedrock is sandstone and shale from the Silurian Period (the span of the Earth's history from about 438 to 408 million years ago.). This image was created to record the waterpower activities of the New York State Conservation Commission.
