New York City Hearings – April 25, 1972 (Afternoon). Recording starts in the middle of a WRVR call-in radio show about racial attitudes. McKay Commission Deputy General Counsel Henry Rossbacher continues the examination of Jamalkowski, the gatekeeper at A block. Jamalkowski discusses the retaking and hostages. Follow-up questions are asked by Commission members Broderick and Henix. Arthur Liman examines Ronald T. Kozlowski, a senior account clerk at Attica who was taken hostage. Kozlowski discusses his experiences as a hostage during the retaking. Follow-up questions asked by Commission member Wadsworth. Kozlowski makes a final statement. Arthur Liman examines Anthony Malovich, a captain in the New York State Police. Malovich discusses the police briefing before the retaking, firearms and their use, and the events of the retaking.
