New York City Hearings – April 27, 1972 (Morning). Recording of Arthur Liman continuing to examine National Guardsmen Cudmore, Futterman, Dill, and O’Day. They discuss their experiences of giving medical care to inmates and hostages after the retaking and mistreatment of inmates. Bramlette examines O’Day and Dill. McKay, Wilbanks, and Broderick ask follow-up questions. Futterman and Cudmore make final statements. Andrew Berger presents to the commission his findings from interviews of inmates, National Guardsmen, correction officers, New York State troopers, prison officials, and medical staff. The study incorporates work done by the Goldman Panel which requested that inmates at Attica be examined for post retaking injuries.
