New York City Hearings – April 28, 1972. Recording continues Commissioner Oswald’s testimony. Oswald is questioned by the rest of the McKay Commission members after Arthur Liman’s examination. Broderick, Wilbanks, Wadsworth, Henix, and Marshall ask follow-up questions. Oswald makes a final statement. Commission staff member Liddle gives a short presentation on inmate weapons found after the retaking. Commission staff member Dr. Gould, who is a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, gives a short presentation to share his insights from interviews with HBZ inmates, members of supervisory staff, doctors, and psychiatrists at Attica.
