Affidavit of Mary Pinhorne, of the city of New York, that she has heard Mrs. Governeur (daughter of Mr. Winclair, to whom Juan Miranda was sold by Captain Axten) say, on her return from CuraƧao, that Juan Miranda was no slave, that she was surprised that the [Peter, Sarah, and Cornelius] van Ranst family still kept him as such.
