Taken north of nearby road, looking west from top of brush fence showing Red Pine planted in the spring of 1936 by Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) S-134 from the top of the most westerly fence. In 1929 the State Reforestation Law was passed which lead to increased reforestation activities, which after 1933 where often carried out by the CCC.
