Rogers Co. Lumber Slide at Buckley's Bridge

View of lumber slide used by J. & J., (James and John), Rogers Company at Buckley's Bridge, probably in the town of Jay. The slide was used to carry timber, generally down a hill or slope.

This image has been identified as the work of Florence A. Van Sant, a photographer who was active in the Adirondacks from 1898-1902.
