Rogers Co. Lumber Slide. End of Slip. Over 7 Miles Long

Logs falling off end of lumber slide slip into an unidentified lake, in the Adirondack Mountains, probably in the town of Jay. Slide was built by the Rogers Lumber Company.

This image has been identified as the work of Florence A. Van Sant, a photographer who was active in the Adirondacks from 1898-1902.
