Mrs. Happy Rockefeller, Governor Hugh L. Carey, and Nelson Rockefeller at the re-dedication of the Empire State Plaza.
Governor Carey stated, "Governor Rockefeller conceived the idea of the plaza and made sure that it was carried out. It is only fitting that the Plaza be named in his honor."
