It shows the East Branch of the Chenango River, two small streams, a bridge, six buildings and an unidentified road which hugs the canal. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of John Calkins, Daniel Calkins and Samuel Ladd.
